The Raven Performing Arts Theater is owned and operated by Healdsburg Performing Arts Theater (HPAT), a 501c3 not-for-profit performing arts center. The Raven is proud to provide a venue for community, educational, and public service activities.
Richard R. Norgrove, President and Chair of the Board
Richard Norgrove is CEO and founder of Bear Republic Brewing Company, Inc. in Healdsburg/Cloverdale, and a long-time resident of Windsor. He joined the Raven board in 2004 and is committed to supporting the arts in our local community.
Tony Correia
Tony Correia has 7 years of experience in the banking industry and 12 years of experience in business development & customer service. He is an MBA candidate at the University of California, Davis, and a certified Project Management Professional. Healdsburg holds a special place in Tony’s heart. He has come to know the community and has had the opportunity to hear about the city’s history from longtime residents—stories that go back all the way to when it was a small farming town. Tony has participated in many of the city’s signature events, such as Healdsburg’s Relay for Life and Raven Theater’s own Mr. Healdsburg Pageant. He’s looking forward to maintaining the legacy of the Raven and introducing it to younger generations.
Joe Gellura
Joe Gellura is the Raven’s artistic liaison and the editor-in-chief of The Raven Speaks: The Backstory. Gellura spent the first thirty years of his theater career working first with Community Theater, then teaching in a New Jersey high school; in his six decades of working in theater, he has filled just about every job there is in the business as either a teacher or as a performer. Since retiring from teaching, he has devoted much of his time to bringing high-quality theater to the Raven. Most recently, he directed Brighton Beach Memoirs with the Raven Players. Gellura is also a member of the Raven Players’ Board of Directors.
Mary Watts Sparks
Mary’s two passions are community and theater. She currently is the Deputy Director for Community Action Partnership, one of the largest non-profit in Sonoma County. CAP partners with low-income families and individuals to help them to achieve economic and social stability. Watts Sparks is the first Vice-Chair for the Sonoma County Democratic Party and sits on the E-Board for the California Democratic Party. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from San Francisco State University and a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from Sonoma State. Born into a theater family, Mary spent her entire childhood on stage and continues to embrace her love and passion for theater arts. She lives in Santa Rosa with her husband Greg, and during her free time, she enjoys exploring all the things Sonoma County has to offer.
