Welcome to the Raven Performing Arts Theater

The Raven Players’ latest production is a must-see!

“If I don’t make it, I love you,” was a text sent from inside the war zone-like scene of a mass shooting. It was the text sent to Stacy Crescitelli, whose 15-year-old daughter, Sarah, was hiding in a closet at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, while a gunman sprayed her school with bullets, killing her friends, teachers, and coaches. Based on the book of the same name, this play portrays some of the stories of those most directly affected in the aftermath of school shootings: the survivors.

The Raven Performing Arts Theater is a cultural icon

Learn about this “hidden gem,” its unique history, and what we have to offer in this new video, produced by Dennis Whitaker and narrated by Raven Players Artistic Director Steven David Martin. And don’t forget, we need volunteers! If you work as a volunteer you get to see the show for free, and you get a Raven t-shirt! Sign up here.

Changes to our COVID policy:

The Raven Theater highly recommends patrons receive the complete COVID-19 vaccination series, including the bivalent booster, and wear an N95 mask when attending our theater.

As of October 2022, COVID-19 requirements are based on individual producer, presenter, and/or artist stipulations. Please check event details for the show you would like to attend; any requirements will be stated on the event page.

The Raven continues to work to improve air quality within the theater: we’ve employed MERV-13 filters in our HVAC system and Corsi-Rosenthal boxes throughout the theater. These measures have been shown to reduce indoor exposure to airborne particles containing the virus that causes COVID-19 and other viruses. They also reduce the levels of other particles in the air, such as dust or wildfire smoke.

Exchange your tickets if you:

  • Are awaiting COVID test results.
  • Are experiencing COVID symptoms.
  • Have been exposed to someone in the past 10 days who has tested positive for COVID.
  • Do not feel comfortable attending a public performance.
  • If you have recently had COVID please refer to CDC guidelines about when to safely leave isolation.

Special Privileges For Our Ardent Supporters

We invite you to join our Stage Door Club: an enthusiastic and generous group of Raven supporters who realize the importance of performing arts in our community by donating $500 or more to our theater.  More details
