What the world needs now is love – and music! – and the Healdsburg Chorus will combine both in its spring concerts Saturday and Sunday, April 27 & 28, at 3:00 p.m. The chorus has been a community choral institution for over 36 years and is led by Music Director David Martin. “It may be a stretch to believe like the Beatles sang, ‘All You Need is Love’,” said Martin at the announcement of the concert. “But it certainly is an essential part of a joyful life, as is music! We celebrate love in and with the music of our spring concerts, and we invite our community to join us.”

The concert repertoire will include “Music in the Air”, “O Love”, “Ad Astra”, “Jenny Rebecca”, “True Colors”, “Through Love to Light”, “Seasons of Love”, “I Love You/What a Wonderful World”, “The Look of Love”, “Change the World”, “Love is Here to Stay”, and “What the World Needs Now is Love”.

The Healdsburg Chorus is comprised of community, non-professional singers, and welcomes new members each season. Rehearsals for the winter holiday concert will begin in late August and are held every Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30p.
