Healdsburg Chorus: Comin’ Home
April 26, 2025 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Healdsburg Chorus is “Comin’ Home” to the Raven and invites the community to share that comfortable feeling through its concert repertoire in two separate concerts.
“Home is a different thing to different people, but it’s an anchor during tumultuous times,” says Music Director David Martin. “It helps keep us grounded, and we welcome the community to share our anchor: Music!”
The concert repertoire this season includes There’s Gonna Be a Homecomin’, Homeward Bound, Unclouded Day, The Road Home, Old Joe Clark, Arise Beloved, Crowded Table, Take Me Home, Perhaps We Only Leave, Home, and I’ll Be On My Way. In addition to chorus pianist Beth Benjamin, local musicians will again accompany the chorus on most songs.
A concert highlight will be the world premiere of “Perhaps We Only Leave,” a piece Dutch composer Nico Philipp Hovius wrote specifically for the chorus. Hovius will attend both concerts.
The Healdsburg Chorus holiday concerts sold out both shows, so get your tickets early!
The Healdsburg Chorus is comprised of community, non-professional singers, and welcomes new members each season. Rehearsals for next December’s holiday concerts will begin in late-August and are held every Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30p. For more information on singing with the chorus visit www.healdsburgchorus.com/join-us/ or email hbgchorus@gmail.com.
Doors open one hour prior to showtime. COVID vaccinations and N95 face masks are recommended but no longer required to see performances at the Raven. See the homepage for information on measures the Raven has implemented to improve air filtration and ventilation inside the theater.
