Chicago is one of the best-selling music groups of all time. Formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 1967, the group began calling themselves the Chicago Transit Authority in 1968, then shortened the name in 1969.

Chicago’s songs often combine elements of classical music, jazz, R&B, and pop music. They have recorded 38 albums and sold over 100,000,000 records.
