Students get in free to Sweeney Todd this weekend!

Thanks to a wonderful surprise gift from an anonymous donor, we’re making student tickets free for the entire closing weekend of Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Visit the event page to get the special code, which can be applied at checkout.

The winner of eight Tony Awards in 1979 and numerous awards since, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is one of the most popular and lauded musicals ever produced. The story is both wickedly funny and terrifying, centering around Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber who returns to London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of 19th Century London lining up…and the carnage has only just begun!

Bring your favorite student to see the Raven Players’ production before it closes on November 8th.
