What price is paid for fighting the good fight? Dom Costello and his family winery are local legends, well-loved and respected for decades. That status is threatened when Dom raises environmental and health concerns about a new resort, certain to bring an influx of people, publicity, and money to his beloved town. Inspired by Henrik Iben’s classic, An Enemy of the People, the play takes a hard look at the profits and perils of overtourism. This new play by Tony Sciullo was developed as part of the Raven Players’ new works program, ScripTease.
