Healdsburg Chorus: Joy Shall Be Yours
December 14, 2024 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The Healdsburg Chorus guarantees that joy shall be yours when you attend its Joy Shall Be Yours holiday concerts, Saturday and Sunday, December 14 & 15, at 3:00 p.m.
A community choral institution for over 36 years, the chorus will be joined by members of Healdsburg’s UPside Dance Company and local musicians on many of this season’s holiday songs.
“We’re thrilled to bring a new, exciting, community-collaborative concert to Sonoma County,” says Music Director David Martin, “and we’re also excited to introduce our new accompanist, Windsor-resident Beth Benjamin, to our great audiences.”
The concert repertoire includes: “Here We Come A-Caroling,” “When Stars Shone Down,” “Joy Shall Be Yours in the Morning,” “Lunar Lullaby,” “Hine Ma Tov,” “Festejo de Navidad,” “Jingle All The Way Medley,” “Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening,” “I Love the Winter Weather,” “Auld Lang Syne,” and “The Christmas Waltz.”
The Healdsburg Chorus is comprised of community, non-professional singers, and welcomes new members each season. Rehearsals for the spring concerts (April 26 and 27) will begin in mid-January and are held every Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30p.
